Jesse Like her big brother, Nate, Jesse has pretty well retired from mailing-squad duties. After all, she's seldom here! Jess is a Morehead scholar at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill-and those Morehead people keep their scholarship recipients busy! Already, they've sent her to Outward Bound in British Columbia (where she slept on the snow for 14 straight nights!) and off on a service project in Kenya, Africa! And that's just the summers! During school, J's taking voice lessons, running a student theatre group, playing club-level basketball, and being active in a couple of student Christian groups, as well as acing a full course load. Truth to tell, we can get by without her mailing help, but we sure do miss her company! I mean, you want your children to grow up and all . . . until they actually do. Still, here or afar, Jesse is a great blessing to our lives and we're deeply grateful for her. Back to Meet the Staff
