What is GreenPrints?

GreenPrints is the premier resource for inspirational, entertaining, and true stories about gardening. GreenPrints is all about the human side of gardening, and we bring you the joy, humor, wit, and wisdom of life through compelling gardening stories that will make you laugh … and sometimes cry. GreenPrints publishes a quarterly magazine — in print and online — and offers daily motivation with stories by email, plus a full library of content that is sure to delight any gardening reader. The whole idea behind GreenPrints is to share the feelings, the joys, and the experiences of gardening — really, the heart and soul of gardening. And that’s what makes GreenPrints so unique and special. We’re here to share stories, not to instruct or preach.

How do I subscribe to GreenPrints?

You can subscribe to GreenPrints in 1 of 3 ways:

How do I know my password?

When you subscribed online, you should have received your password via email. But don’t worry, you can reset your password anytime to anything you want by going through the forgot password flow.

How do I change my password?

If you know your password, go to the Menu on our site and choose Manage Account. There’s a button on the page that says Change Password. Click on that, provide your current password and the new password you want, and hit the Update Password button. Done!

If you forgot your password, go to this link to request a password reset email. When you get the email, click on the designated link and then follow the instructions.

How do I change my email address?

Go to the Menu on our site and choose Manage Account. There’s a button on the page that says Update Email Address. Click on that, provide your new email, and hit the Update Email button. Done!

How do I update my email newsletter preferences?

From the drop-down menu on the website, choose Manage Account. Your newsletter preferences will be listed there. Uncheck any you don’t want to receive, and check ones that you do want to receive.

How do I update my mailing address?

From the drop-down menu on the website, choose Manage Account. There’s a button on the page that says Change Personal Information. Click on that, provide your updated mailing address, and hit the Update Profile button. Done!

How do I add emails from GreenPrints to my safe list?

You want to make sure our emails make it to your inbox. The best way to do that is to add our email address, greenprints@greenprints.com to your safe list. The process differs a little from one email provider to another. Search online for specific instructions on how to add to your safe sender list for your email client.

The first thing you can do to get things rolling is to check your Spam/Junk folder. If there are any emails already in there from GreenPrints, click on the Not Junk/Spam button to teach your email program to put GreenPrints in your in box.

How do I submit stories to GreenPrints?

Thanks for your interest! GreenPrints lives because people like you care about gardening—and about sharing with other gardeners. Without your garden writing, the magazine simply would not exist. So, thank you! To submit stories to GreenPrints please review our GreenPrints Writer’s Guidelines.

What is your refund policy?

You may cancel your membership at any time; you will be refunded for any months you have not yet received. You will be reimbursed by check or credit card, depending on the method of your original payment. Just contact us if you are unhappy for any reason at any time.

Hassle Free Automatic Renewal: To guarantee future savings, do nothing, and after your initial term your membership will automatically renew annually and your subscription will continue uninterrupted. Before each term you will receive a reminder notice and unless you cancel, we will bill the credit card on file each year. Of course you can cancel anytime by contacting customer service and receive a refund of months not yet received.

What can I still get for free?

If you’re a Basic Member, you have access to:

  • GreenPrints Daily (unlimited access)
  • GreenPrints Freebies (unlimited access)
  • GreenPrints Magazine (limited access: 3 premium article views total per month)
  • GreenPrints Collections (limited access: 3 premium article views total per month)

Why can’t I read some GreenPrints.com stories?

If you want to read all the GreenPrints content that’s online, you’ll need to upgrade to a Digital Membership or an All-Access Membership.

What is the difference between the All Access and Digital Only options?

An All-Access Membership provides:

Is GreenPrints All-Access available to international subscribers?

No. We currently provide All-Access Membership to U.S. subscribers only.

Digital Membership is available to all subscribers and provides everything except the print publications. Subscribe today!

When does my subscription expire?

If you get the print version of GreenPrints, check your mailing label. You’ll find the month of your last issue.

If you subscribed through the website, you should have a password to your account. Just log in, click on the drop-down menu, and choose Manage Account.

How can I order back issues?

Order back issues through the website. Just click on the Store link in the main menu.

When will I get my issue?

Issues are published quarterly. We have a Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter issue. They are typically sent in March, June, September, and December.
